On the third day of the third lunar month—this year falling on the Lantern Festival—something simple yet heartwarming happened at our factory. The production line paused, the office lights stayed on, and the aroma of something sweet began to fill the air.

Our management team had prepared a special treat for everyone: bowls of warm, freshly cooked tangyuan (sweet glutinous rice balls).

A Taste of Tradition

For those who may not be familiar, the Lantern Festival marks the final day of the Lunar New Year celebrations. It's a time for reunion, for family gatherings, and for enjoying tangyuan—round, chewy rice balls filled with sweet sesame, peanut, or red bean paste. Their round shape symbolizes completeness and unity.
